iphone Photos: Monsters

Here are latest iphone photos and it seems to be monster theme :D

Monster finger puppets!

More monsters! And my attempt to make brownie popsicles.
(They were yummy just not so much looking the way I wanted them to!

Mmmmm. Yum. I heart sprinkles!
And a photo of the lantern lights I got for the deck. They're solar too!

We set up a kiddie pool for Kade one 90° day. He loooooooved it!
Then one rainy overcast day. I was feeling bummed so
I decide to pretend we were at the beach!
(yes the water is blue)

My little monster!!

Kade was laughing at being able to see himself in my iphone!
While in the 2nd photo he was being a little monster by not listening.
But look how innocent he looks!

Bring on the Sunshine

I saw these flowers (not 100% sure what type) in my neighbors yard and I just thought they looked so enchanting in the bright warm sunlight. I look forward to more summer sunshine (and taking more photos of course).

Mixed Pix

These photos are all taken from my iphone. I decided from time to time I will post some on here to share with you! :) Having a iphone sure is convenient when you are shutter bug. So many fun apps as well! They are all random and have no theme to them hence why I titled this posted Mixed Pix's. Enjoy!

Wild flower buds!

A baby bunny found in our backyard.

The adventures of Buddy Buddha.
From time to time in my downtime at work Buddy and I go exploring.

My house plant.

My Mother's day gift from Kade was to play hide n' go seek with his Mama. Only Mama, didn't know we were playing and Mama didn't not know where he was. I had no idea that he could how open doors. This is where I found him. Small heart attack that day. If you notice he totally playing in his socks!

Choo! Choo! They can be found all over our house!

Kade and I reading books.

Jenny & Jamez 7/17/2010

Being my first wedding I shot, I was nervous as heck!
Especially on such short notice.
Jenny contacted me only 2 weeks before her wedding,
She was frantic and needed a photographer asap.
I told her I was hadn't done many but I was up for the challenge!

It really was a learning experience but at great one at that.
Jenny is a photographer and was able to give me pointers despite the fact that it was also her wedding day.

I learned that you have to become a Ninja on any couple's special day: you need to be everywhere FAST, you need to SEE everything while trying to remain inconspicuous. I feel I did the best I could I do. Although at times I caught myself saying I really wish I had a second shooter.

What I can tell you for sure is, I saw love that day!

As mushy as it sounds, I did see it.

Jamez and Jenny are absolutely in love with one another.
The way they looked at one another, the way they interacted
together was like something out of movie, only it wasn't some made up fairytale, it was real! I get goosebumps remembering their special day.
I'm not going to lie either, I did shed a couple happy tears that day!

I just hope that I captured the love I witnessed.

Thank you Jenny and Jamez, for giving me the opportunity to share and witness your day.

Chim Chim Cher-ee...

I couldn’t help but hum Mary Poppins tune while taking these pictures of Poppies. Across the world poppies almost universally represent death and sleep, to me they symbolize happiness and youth. Probably mostly due to word transference of Poppy and Poppins.
(I know I'm totally a nerd!)

Here's the Song I was humming to :P

Itsy Bitsy Spider...

Maybe its a Mom thing, but when I see things I often break out my tunes!

Ok ok... Maybe its not a mom thing... maybe I have been doing this my whole life. :P

But in this instance I was working on picture of spider webs (look below :P) and it sure did make me break out my nursery rhyme skills. Kade does really enjoy my voice. I discovered even when I'm sick and snotty and I don't have much a voice he still loves it! Then again he also thinks its funny when I tell him "No!" or "Don't do that!" (which seems a lot these days since he is getting into everything!)

But I'm really straying away from the point of my post....

My Pictures!

Memorial weekend I went on hike with some of my family!

It was quite a journey! I really love being outdoors and I really love taking pictures so just add that with beautiful sun-filled day and what do you get! Heaven! So here are few pictures from my family hike! You'll notice that there are quite bit of Itsy bitsy spider cob webs in the woods too. :P
